Abstract
Handicraft skill learning in School for Students with Special Needs is a medium to prepare learners in entering the world of work, possessing entrepreneurial spirit, and to be able to support them being independent. The objectives of the current research are to get a picture of the purposes, the planning, the organization, the implementation, the evaluation, the problems encountered and the solutions during skill learning in School for Students with Special Needs in Cianjur Regency. This current research applied a qualitative approach with descriptive method. Techniques for collecting data were observation, interview, and documentary study. The research findings revealed that skill learning to increase entrepreneurial spirit has shown positive results. The evidence were gained from planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluation in skill learning program which had successfully produced profitable products with both reliable quality and competitive prices. As a recommendation for schools in Cianjur especially for partnership programs, they are supposed to gradually improve in order that the products will be more recognized by wider communities.
