Abstract

Employee performance is the result achieved by individuals in carrying out their duties and responsibilities, which is strongly influenced by various factors, including job satisfaction and employee retention. This study aims to analyze the effect of Job Satisfaction and Employee Retention on Employee Performance in the production department of PT Hakatex, Bandung Regency. This research uses a quantitative approach with descriptive and associative methods. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and questionnaire distribution. The number of respondents in this study was 83 employees using the census method. The results of the descriptive analysis show that all three research variables fall into the very high category, namely Job Satisfaction at 86.31%, Employee Retention at 89.46%, and Employee Performance at 84.53%. The results of the partial hypothesis test (T-test) indicate that both Job Satisfaction and Employee Retention have a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance. Simultaneously (F-test), these two independent variables also have a significant effect on the dependent variable, namely Employee Performance. The coefficient of determination (R Square) is 0.636, which means that Job Satisfaction and Employee Retention together explain 63.6% of the variation in Employee Performance, while the remaining 36.4% is explained by other variables not examined in this study, such as work motivation, leadership style, employee competence, work environment, work discipline, and organizational culture. Keywords: Employee Retention, Employee Performance, Job Satisfaction
