Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang penelitian ini berfokus pada fenomena kesenjangan antara tuntutan peningkatan mutu pendidikan dan kompetensi profesional guru yang masih rendah, di mana sekitar dari 50% guru menganggap KKG bermanfaat, guru belum memenuhi standar kompetensi yang ditetapkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis manajemen Kelompok Kerja Guru (KKG) dalam meningkatkan kompetensi profesional guru SD, dengan menekankan pada aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori manajemen George R. Terry, yang mencakup empat fungsi utama manajemen. Metode penelitian yang diterapkan adalah pendekatan deskriptif analisis kualitatif, dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara, dan analisis dokumen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Perencanaan kegiatan KKG telah dilakukan dengan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan guru dan mengembangkan program pelatihan yang relevan; 2) Pengorganisasian KKG melibatkan kolaborasi antara guru untuk berbagi praktik terbaik; 3) Pelaksanaan program KKG menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan pedagogik dan digital guru (PMM); 4) Evaluasi berkelanjutan memberikan umpan balik yang konstruktif untuk perbaikan program di masa mendatang. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menegaskan bahwa manajemen KKG yang efektif dapat berkontribusi signifikan terhadap peningkatan kompetensi profesional guru SD, sehingga mendukung pencapaian mutu pendidikan yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Manajemen, Kelompok Kerja Guru, Kompetensi Profesional, guru SD ABSTRACS The background of this research focuses on the phenomenon of the gap between the demands for improving the quality of education and the still low professional competencies of teachers, where less than 50% of teachers consider the Teacher Working Group (KKG) to be beneficial, and many teachers have not met the established competency standards. This study aims to describe and analyze the management of Teacher Working Groups (KKG) in enhancing the professional competencies of elementary school teachers, emphasizing the aspects of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. The theory used in this research is George R. Terry's management theory, which encompasses four main functions of management. The research method applied is a qualitative descriptive analysis approach, with data collection techniques through participatory observation, interviews, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that: 1) The planning of KKG activities has been carried out by identifying the needs of teachers and developing relevant training programs; 2) The organization of KKG involves collaboration among teachers to share best practices; 3) The implementation of KKG programs shows an improvement in teachers' pedagogical and digital skills (PMM); 4) Continuous evaluation provides constructive feedback for future program improvements. The conclusion of this research emphasizes that effective KKG management can significantly contribute to the enhancement of professional competencies of elementary school teachers, thereby supporting the achievement of better educational quality.
