Abstract

The problem of this research is that the work discipline of employees is lacking and the role of the leader is less assertive in disciplining his subordinates, causing a lack of performance that employees have. This study aims to obtain an overview of disciplinary coaching to improve the performance of DISPORA Civil Servants in West Java Province. The specific purpose of this study is to find out Planning, Organizing, Implementation, Supervision, Assessment of and Supporting factors and inhibitors of disciplinary development to improve the performance of DISPORA Civil Servants in Java Province West. The method in this study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection is carried out through document review, observation and interviews. The results of the study show that disciplinary training to improve the performance of DISPORA Civil Servants in West Java Province has been carried out optimally. Discipline employees of DISPORA West Java Province are basically good enough, but there are still some employees who are still lacking in discipline, especially when attendance is absent. Employee discipline is inseparable from the role of a leader, leadership is one of the factors that influence the increase in discipline and work effectiveness of employees, especially direct supervisor. Supervision from the leadership needs to be increased again for employees who are still committing violations, namely by giving strict sanctions to employees who violate them, the purpose of which is to educate and correct the mistakes they make so they can correct and not make the same mistakes
