Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of job training and career development on employee performance at the Regional Library and Archives Office of West Java Province. The research was motivated by variations in employee performance that have not yet reached optimal levels. The method used in this study is a quantitative approach with a survey technique involving 115 employee respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression with the assistance of SPSS version 27. The results showed that the job training variable obtained an average score of 81.43% (high category) and had a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 1.659. The career development variable obtained an average score of 81.88% (high category) and also had a positive and significant effect. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influenced employee performance. The coefficient of determination indicates that job training and career development together contribute 43.7% to employee performance. Keyword: Career development, Employee performance, Job training.
