Abstract

This study looks at how work stress and incentives influence job satisfaction among Grab Bike drivers in the Grab Bandung Raya area. It checks how each of these factors affects job satisfaction on its own and together. The gig economy has made online motorcycle taxi work more popular because people like the flexibility and extra income chances. But this job also has problems like high pressure, competition, and not knowing how much money they will make, so having a good incentive system is important to keep drivers happy. The research uses a quantitative method with a descriptive and confirmatory approach. Data were gathered through questionnaires given to 150 drivers who are part of the Grab Bandung Raya group, using purposeful sampling. The tools used were checked for accuracy and reliability, and the data were analyzed using multiple linear regression, t-test, F-test, and the R² value with the help of SPSS 27. The results show that work stress is low, incentives are very high, and job satisfaction is also very high. On its own, work stress has a strong negative effect on job satisfaction, while incentives have a strong positive effect. When looked at together, both work stress and incentives have a significant impact on job satisfaction. The R² value of 50.6% means that work stress and incentives explain 50.6% of the changes in job satisfaction, while the rest is due to other factors not considered in this study. Keywords: Incentives, Job Satisfaction, Job Stress.
