Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent to which recruitment and training influence employee performance in the sewing division at PT Alizhan Garmindo Abadi. Recruitment is defined as the process of selecting and placing workers in accordance with the company's needs, while training is a systematic effort to improve employees’ skills and work-related knowledge. Employee performance reflects the achievement of work outcomes based on predetermined quality standards. The study employs a quantitative approach and is analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results show that both recruitment and training have a positive and significant effect on employee performance when tested partially. Furthermore, both variables also have a significant effect on performance simultaneously, contributing 24% to the variation in performance. Descriptive analysis indicates that consistent productivity is the highest-performing indicator, while irregular recruitment scheduling, limited external training, and lack of precision and neatness in work results are the lowest. This study emphasizes the importance of improving recruitment quality and implementing continuous training programs as key strategies to enhance employee performance effectively.
