Abstract
This study aims to analyze the effect of firm size, liquidity, and debt management on firm value in the sea logistics sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020–2024 period. The sea logistics sector was selected due to its strategic role in inter-island distribution and export-import activities in Indonesia, as well as its vulnerability to global dynamics such as the Russia–Ukraine conflict, which has affected logistics costs, fleet availability, and operational risks. The research sample consists of 7 companies that meet the criteria, with secondary data obtained from annual financial statements. The analysis method used is panel data regression, with the best model determined through the Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests, resulting in the selection of the Random Effect Model (REM). The dependent variable, firm value, is measured using the Price to Book Value (PBV), while the independent variables include firm size (total assets), liquidity (current ratio), and debt management (debt to equity ratio). The findings indicate that firm size, liquidity, and debt management have no significant effect on firm value in the sea logistics sector. The low coefficient of determination (R²) suggests that variations in firm value are largely influenced by factors outside the research model. These results imply that company management should consider external factors, operational strategies, and global market conditions in efforts to enhance firm value. This study also serves as a reference for investors in assessing the prospects of the sea logistics sector, particularly during periods of global uncertainty. Keywords: firm size, liquidity, debt management, firm value.
