Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Job Insecurity and Workload on Turnover Intention at PT. Ponseljobs Indonesia (JO Executive). Turnover intention is a crucial issue that directly affects organizational stability. This phenomenon reflects employees’ conscious tendency to consider resigning from their current workplace. Job insecurity is defined as employees’ perception of uncertainty regarding the future of their employment, while workload refers to both physical and mental pressures resulting from excessive job demands. This research employs a quantitative approach using descriptive and verification analysis. The sample consisted of 62 employees selected through saturated sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) version 27, employing multiple linear regression analysis, along with validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and hypothesis testing (T-test and F-test). The results show that Job Insecurity and Workload have a positive and significant effect on Turnover Intention, both partially and simultaneously. High levels of job insecurity and excessive workload increase employees’ intention to leave the company. Therefore, this study suggests that companies need to understand the influence of these two variables, as they play an important role in formulating sustainable employee retention strategies. Keywords: Job Insecurity, Turnover Intention, Workload
