Abstract

Performance is the result achieved by an individual in carrying out tasks in accordance with their responsibilities and serves as a benchmark for the extent to which they are able to meet organizational standards. Performance plays a crucial role as it determines the success of an institution in achieving its goals. This research is based on findings of a high level of performance and aims to analyze the effect of Work Motivation and Work Life Balance on the Performance of Nurses in the Inpatient Unit at Al Islam Hospital Bandung. The study employed a quantitative approach with a sample of 127 respondents. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression, t-test, F test, and the Coefficient of Determination. The results of the Partial Significance Test (t-test) show that the variables of Work Motivation (X1) with a value of 7.735 and Work Life Balance (X2) with a value of 3.942 are greater than the t-table value of 1.657, indicating that both Work Motivation and Work Life Balance have a significant effect on Nurse Performance (Y) in the Inpatient Unit at Al Islam Hospital Bandung. The Simultaneous Significance Test (F-test) also indicates that the independent variables, Work Motivation and Work Life Balance, simultaneously have a significant influence on the dependent variable, namely Performance. The Coefficient of Determination further shows that 76.5% of Nurse Performance is influenced by Work Motivation and Work Life Balance.
