Abstract

Job Satisfaction is a positive feeling that appears from the result of evaluation results toward someone’s jobs or someone’s job experiences. This research aims to analyse the influence of work life balance and workplace friendship toward the job satisfaction of the sewing workers of the CV. Suho Garmindo which is located in Cileunyi at Kabupaten Bandung. The research method used in this research is a qualitative method with the data collection technique using observations, interviews, and questionnaires. The sampling technique used in this research is the saturated sampling method, which means all of the populations are made into 120 respondent samples. The findings and the hypothesis testing through T-Test partially show that the t-count score for the work life balance variable (X1) is 2,787 and the workplace friendship variable (X2) is 6,256 which are bigger than the t-table which reaches 1,980 so that those two independent variables are significantly influential toward job satisfaction (Y), simultaneously through f-test is obtained F-Count score in the amount of 38,009 bigger than the FTable 3,07 so that work life balance and workplace friendship are significantly influential toward job satisfaction. The results of the determination coefficient test (R Square) in the amount of 39,4% show that work life balance and workplace friendship give an influence toward job satisfaction, meanwhile the rest 60,6% is influenced by other factors that are not included in this research, in this research, namely compensation, work motivation, leadership style, organizational culture, physical work environment, and workload.
